A little about us - we are a couple who recently moved to Washington from the Bay Area for work. We had the vision to buy our first home in the Greater Seattle area within 2 months of moving to Washington so that we avoid getting into rental housing! As crazy as it sounds, we were first-time home-buyers in a fierce real estate market with an interest in older homes with bigger lots. This translates to us having to put offers down for competitive homes that attract very strong and seasoned buyers. Achieving this required a lot of market analysis and research from our end in addition to learning about the different neighborhoods in the area that could potentially fit our liking and affordability. Kate provided and also helped us navigate through a ton of information (which can be super intimidating for people like us who are new to the city and the real estate market) without being overwhelmed and carefully drew our attention to many small, but important details that need to be factored in while deciding where you want to live. Our search area was limited to the Bothell-Woodinville-Kirkland-Kenmore area after extensive studies/driving around neighborhoods and commute proximity to Seattle for work. Kate always helped in keeping the big picture in view for us so that we don't get distracted and fall into potential "traps". She was really patient in listening to what we expected in our potential home (as first-time home buyers the list kinda gets endless and sometimes unrealistic ) and always kept us on track to have realistic expectations. With all this homework done, we did manage to get our first and only offer picked for our dream house. She was spot-on in with her predictions on how far we should stretch to get our house and beat the other strong offers. Overall, she is the best agent you could ask for. And the big plus - she knows everything and anything to do with homes, that means, movers-packers/contractors/inspectors/interior designers/and so much more! Rest assured, she will hold your hand throughout the process and answer all your questions and concerns promptly.
